with Duncan Welgemoed from Africola

10:30am to 2:30pm

Yalumba has long believed in the sensory enjoyment of combining wine and food. With the support of chefs and sommeliers, Yalumba has maintained a focus on the quality of both – from our fine wines that are an integral part of Australia’s contemporary lifestyle to the planting of various clones of olive trees around our estates.

This year, the Cooking School is headlined by renowned Adelaide avant-garde chef, Duncan Welgemoed. He is described by food critic John Lethlean as ‘a Hemingway of a chef’ for his African food and story-telling at his restaurant Africola. Welgemoed is sure to delight, inspire, as well as push some culinary boundaries, unseen before in the Yalumba Signature Cellar kitchen.
